WHY:

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress sanction with the strength of LEY:

CHAPTER I

Amnesty policy

ARTICLE 1 - Agree broad amnesty for political crimes committed prior to this law. The benefits of this Act shall be applied to the perpetrators of related military offences under article 1 only in cases and in the extent determined by the Executive.

Article 3 - Amnesty will not reach crimes linked to acts of terrorism committed for political purposes.

CHAPTER II

Amnesty Association

Article 4 - General amnesty shall be accorded to the union militants who, on the occasion of their union activity, prior to 17 October 1945, have committed acts considered as crimes, offences or contraventions.

The benefits of this article shall also be accorded to the authors of facts of the same character made from the date stated, in the cases and in the extent determined by the Executive.
