ARTICLE 44

WHY:

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, assembled in Congress, etc., sanction with force

LEY:

ARTICLE 1 - Amend article 44 of the Organizational Law for the personnel of the Navy, 12,980 (Decree Law 10.700/945), as follows.

Art. 44. - The minimum age for promotion for each degree is:

Deputy admirals 2 years

More senior officers 3 "

Ship chiefs and lieutenants 4 "

More junior officers 2 "

Chief officers and corporals 3 "

First and second corporals and

sailors or first soldiers 2 "

Mariners or soldiers seconds 1 "

Soldiers or sailors seconds

former - marine conscripts

of war 6 months

ARTICLE 2° - Replace article 79, paragraph 8, of the Act, with the following:

8°) Officers who reach the admiral grade by completing a year of seniority.

ARTICLE 3° - Contact the Executive.

Given in the meeting room of the Argentine Congress, in Buenos Aires on the 12th day of the month of August, a thousand nine hundred forty-eight.
