Law:
ARTICLE 1 — Take part on March 11, every year, as the “National Day to Combat Gender Violence in the Media”.
ARTICLE 2 The purpose of this law is to promote the protection and safeguarding of equality between women and men and the plural, egalitarian and non-stereotyped treatment, avoiding any discrimination by gender or sexual orientation in the media in accordance with the provisions of articles 3rd paragraph m; 70 and 71 of Law 26,522 of Audiovisual Communication Services and articles 5th paragraph 5, and 6th paragraph f of Law 26,485 on Comprehensive Protection of Preventive Violence
ARTICLE 3 — In accordance with article 1, in March of each year, the national executive branch, through appropriate agencies, will develop training, dissemination, prevention and awareness-raising activities that promote critical reflection on gender-based violence in the media.
