HISTORICAL LUGARES Law 26.498 Deplore the national historical place to the cemetery of war of the fallen in Malvinas and South Atlantic Islands located in the cemetery of Darwin, Isla Soledad. Sanctioned: May 13, 2009. Enacted: June 4, 2009.

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1 Deplore the national historical place to the cemetery of war of the fallen in Malvinas and South Atlantic Islands, located in the cemetery of Darwin, Isla Soledad.

ARTICLE 2 The National Commission of Museums and Monuments and Historic Places, under the Ministry of Culture of the Nation, shall implement all that is relevant to the implementation of this law and shall agree with the Commission of Families of CaĆ­dos in Falkland Islands and South Atlantic Islands, the relevant measures to ensure the custody, preservation, refurbishment and restoration of the national historical place declared by this law.

Article 3 The National Commission of Museums and Monuments and Historic Places will register in the National Register of Historic Property the place declared by article 1 of this law with the reference national historical place.
