CREATION OF THE EARTH UNIVERSITY OF THE FUEGO, ANTARTRED AND ISLAS OF THE SUR ATLANTICO
ARTICLE 1 Trust the National University of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands, which will be subject to the legal regime applicable to National Universities. ARTICLE 2 The National University of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands will be formed on the basis of the transformation of Ushuaia Headquarters of the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco in the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands.The National Executive Power through the Ministry of Education will constitute a Special Commission consisting of: UN (1) representative of the Ministry itself, UN (1) of the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco and DOS (2) designated by the Rector Organizer, representing the National University of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands.
The Commission will have as its mission to implement the transfer process to the new University, through the signing of a framework agreement and/or the use of other relevant legal tools, of all the educational services of the above-mentioned headquarters, its movable and immovable property, as well as its teaching and non-teaching staff.
It will also ensure mechanisms for the continuity, graduation and certification of students, respecting their acquired rights.
Article 3 The Ministry of Education of the Nation shall designate the Rector Organiser who shall have the powers conferred by article 49 of Law No. 24.521 and shall remain in office until the authorities elect to establish the future statute of the National University of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands. ARTICLE 4 The Rector Organizer will be assisted in the formulation of the institutional project by an Advisory Commission consisting of DOS (2) representatives of the provincial Government (one for each territorial department) and UN (1) representative of the Ministry of Education of the Nation. This design process will conform to the provisions of Articles 5 and 6 of this Law. ARTICLE 5o The institutional project should respond to the social, economic, cultural and integral development needs of the province, and should include a viable growth plan to establish effective headquarters, with substantive and balanced academic offer in the main urban centres of the provincial territory. ARTICLE 6 The institutional project and the authorities of the National University established, within the framework of the administration of assigned resources, should ensure:(a) That the transferred staff maintain in all cases the equivalence in the hierarchy, functions and status of journals in which they were found at the date of the transfer.

ARTICLE 7 The newly appointed Rector Organizer shall be empowered to manage and accept national, provincial and/or municipal administrations within the regional and/or public and private institutions, the assignment of movable and immovable property and/or other rights to incorporate into the heritage of the National University of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands.
