TRANSITION LAW Law 25.857 Amend Section 55 of Law No. 24.449, in relation to requirements to be met by school transporters. Sanctioned: December 4, 2003. Promulgated: January 6, 2004.

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1 Amend the National Transit Act 24,449, in the last paragraph of article 55, school transport, which shall read as follows:

They will have combined and inertial seat belts, for compulsory use in all vehicle seats.

ARTICLE 2 elAdd the following text to the last paragraph of article 55:

School carriers shall have to adjust their vehicles accordingly with the provisions of this Act within a period not exceeding one (1) year, from the entry into force of this Act.

ARTICLE 3 Contact the Executive.
