INEMBARGILITY OF SUMAS PERCIBIDATED BY ASSISTANCE COUNTRIES Law 25.963 Please consider the inembargobility of the sums of money that are perceived in the payment of benefits of a care nature, such as subsidies, aids, contributions or non-remuneration payments for participation in social plans, scholarships and internships. Exceptions. Sanctioned: November 17 of 2004. Promulgated: December 2, 2004.

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1 Please note that the inembargobility of all amounts of money received in respect of payments of assistance benefits, such as grants, aids, contributions or non-remuneration payments for participation in plans, programmes, social projects, employment, training, labour training, fellowship and internship programmes, irrespective of their modality, permanent or temporary, national, provincial or municipal. Food and waste debts are exempted. ARTICLE 2 Inembarkability will apply to the amount of a minimum, vital and mobile wage. The amounts exceeding that salary shall be charged in the following proportion:

(a) Higher than double the monthly minimum, vital and mobile wage: up to 10% exceed the minimum wage;

(b) Higher than double the minimum wage, vital and mobile and monthly: up to 20% of the amount exceeded by the latter.
