JUSTICE Law 25.758 Amendment of the Nros Laws. 25,499 and 25,519. Sanctioned: July 16, 2003. Promulgated: August 7 of 2003.

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1 Replace article 1 of Act No. 25,499 with the following:

Article 1: A First Instance Office and an Official Public Defender shall be established, which shall act before the Federal Court of First Instance of Blue, with seat in the city of Tandil, province of Buenos Aires.

ARTICLE 2 Replace article 2 of Act No. 25,499 with the following:

Article 2: Refer to the charges of Prosecutor, Official Public Defender and officials and employees referred to in Annex I, which is part of this Act.

Article 3 . Amend Annex I to Law No. 25,499, replacing the term "Public Defender of Children and Incapaces" with the term "Official Public Defender".

ARTICLE 4 Replace section 5 of Act No. 25.519 with the following:

Article 5: A First Instance Prosecutor ' s Office and an Official Public Defender ' s Office shall be established and shall act before the Federal Court of First Instance of Quilmes.

ARTICLE 5o . Modify Annex I to Law No. 25.519, replacing the term “Official Defense” with the term “Official Public Defender”.
