ARTICLE 1 Appropriate the provisional protocol to the COOPE MARK RATION IN PACIFIC IMPLICATIONS OF SPACE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE ARGENTINA REPUBLIC AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL RELATING TO THE CONCESION OF RECIPROCITY IN THE AQUIPMENT FOR COOPERATION ESPACIAL, signed in Buenos Aires on 14 August 2001, consisting of DOS (2) articles, whose authenticated photocopy is part of this law. PROTOCOL ADICIONAL TO THE COOPERATION FRAMEWORK AGREED IN PACIFIC IMPLICATIONS OF SPACE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT OF THE ARGENTINA REPUBLIC AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL RELATING TO THE CONCESION OF RESOLUTION IN THE

The Government of the Argentine Republic and the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil, henceforth "the Parties",

Considering the Framework Agreement for Cooperation in Peaceful Applications of Space Science and Technology between the Government of the Argentine Republic and the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil, signed in Buenos Aires on 9 April 1996, henceforth the "Agreement" and,

Considering the will of the Parties to include a clause that allows for the establishment of certain mutual facilities for the implementation of the programmes and/or projects agreed upon by the specific understandings provided for in Article 3 of the above-mentioned Agreement, they agree to the following:

Article I

For the implementation of the programmes and/or projects agreed upon through the specific understandings provided for in Article 3 of the Agreement, and in the event that one of the Parties, in order to comply with its obligations under such understandings, needs to acquire systems, equipment or services that cannot be provided by national companies or agencies, the Party shall grant a priority right for the provision of such elements to the companies or agencies of the other Party that are certified by the latter.

Article II

This Protocol shall enter into force on the date of the last notification by which the Parties communicate, through diplomatic channels, the completion of the respective internal formalities necessary for its entry into force.

Made in Buenos Aires, on 14 days of August 2001, in two copies in Spanish and Portuguese languages, both of which are equally authentic.
