CODIGO ENAL Law 25.825 Modification. Sanctioned: November 19, 2003. Enacted: December 10, 2003.

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1 Replace article 258 bis of the Criminal Code with the following:

Article 258 bis: The person who, directly or indirectly, offers or grants to a public official of another State or an international public organization, whether for his or her benefit or for a third party, sums of money or any object of monetary value or other compensation, such as gifts, promises, or such profits, shall be repressed with imprisonment from one (1) to six (6) years and special disqualifications for the performance of a foreign official,

ARTICLE 2 Contact the Executive.
