The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:
ARTICLE 1 sExplain the payment of import duties and any other tax, tax, contribution, rate or customs or port tariff, of any nature or origin, as well as of the constitution of pre-position, to critical products for the diagnosis and treatment of human health, which are included in the respective tariff positions of the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR, which are set out in Annex 1. ARTICLE 2 Explain the payment for the added value tax that tax the import for the consumption of the goods referred to in Article 1 of this Law. ARTICLE 3 The exemptions set out in Articles 1 and 2 of this Act shall be temporary and shall be extended during the National Health Emergency. ARTICLE 4 Any importer, public or private, irrespective of their legal nature, who is legally authorized and registered for the exercise of such activity shall be deemed to be beneficiaries of the exemption provided for in Article 1 of the present. ARTICLE 5° The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Economics, on the proposal of the National Administration of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT) and with the intervention of the Ministry of Production, will be responsible for updating the list of goods referred to in Article 1.In addition, each of the ministries mentioned above is empowered to perform such interpretations and clarifications as it deems appropriate, to consult with other agencies and to issue the regulatory rules that allow for the proper, prompt and effective implementation of this law in the field of its competence.
