ARTICLE 1 Prohibit the import of goods individually and classified in the Harmonized System of Designation and Codification of Goods, developed under the auspices of the Customs Cooperation Consensus, signed in Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium, on 14 July 1983, and modified by its Amendment Protocol made in Brussels on 24 June 1986, and its explanatory notes contained in the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur under N. 4012.10.00 Retracted tires and 4012.20.00 Pneumatic tires (pneumatic tires) used. ARTICLE 2.- Except for the prohibition established in the previous article, the import of towed tyres that qualify by the tariff positions of the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (N.C.M.) 4012.11.00, 4012.12.00, 4012.13.00 and 4012.19.00, with the limits and conditions set out below.

For the purposes of this article, it is understood by towing tires to be rebuilt by substitution of its bearing band, its shoulders and the entire surface of its sides (heel-to-heel removal), according to the joint standard IRAM 113.323 ­ MERCOSUR NM 225.

(Article 1 of the Act No. 26,329 B.O. 26/12/2007) Article 3.- The import of .N.C.M tow tyres. 4012.11.00, 4012.12.00, 4012.13.00 and 4012.19.00 cualquier of any origin may only be authorized in quantities equal to or below the number of tyres used CN.C.M. 4012.20.00., of the same type, which have been exported to that destination from the Argentine Republic, prior to the authorisation of such import. (Article 1 of the Act No. 26,329 B.O. 26/12/2007) ARTICLES 4o.- The national executive branch shall regulate the formalities and procedures for authorizing the import of towed tyres of any origin, subject to verification of compensation with the number and type of tyres used exported from Argentina to that same destination.
