The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1 Appropriate the amendment to Article XI, PARAGRAPH 3, SUBPARRAFO (a) of the Convention on the International Trade in AMENAZED SPECIES of FAUNA and SILVESTRES, adopted in Bonn - FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF ALEMANIA - 22 June 1979, whose authenticated photocopy is part of this law. ARTICLE 2 Contact the National Executive.

AMENDMENT

Pursuant to Article XVII of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, signed in Washington, D.C., on 3 March 1973, an extraordinary meeting of the Conference of the Parties in Bonn, Federal Republic of Germany, was convened on 22 June 1979.

The following Parties were represented: Botswana, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, France, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Norway, Panama, Senegal, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and Zaire.

With the majority of the two thirds of the Parties present and voting, the Conference of the Parties adopted the following amendment to the Convention:

the words should be added at the end of Article XI, paragraph 3 (a), of the Convention "and make financial arrangements.".
