Adopted: 16 March 2011 fact promulgated: April 7, 2011 the Senate and Chamber of deputies of the Argentina nation gathered in Congress, etc. they attest to the force of law: article 1 - approve the amendment to the Convention of Basel on the CONTROL of the movements cross-border of LOS waste dangerous and your disposal, adopted by the third meeting of the Conference of the parties which took place in Geneva - Confederation - Switzerland on September 22, 1995, which authenticated photocopy part of this law.

C.N. 456.1995. TREATIES-1 (Annex) amendment to the Basel Convention on the Control of transboundary movements of hazardous wastes and their disposal, adopted at the third meeting of the Conference of the parties at Geneva on 22 September 1995. Insert a new paragraph 7 bis of the preamble: "Recognizing that transboundary movements of hazardous wastes, especially to developing countries, have a high risk of not constituting environmentally sound and efficient management of hazardous waste which stipulates in the Convention." Insert a new article 4 A: "1. each of the parties listed in annex VII shall prohibit all transboundary movement of hazardous wastes which are destined to the operations provided for in annex IV A, to States not listed in annex VII." 2. each party listed in annex VII should discontinue gradually until the 31 December 1997 and prohibit from that date onwards all transboundary movements; ((of hazardous wastes referred to in to) of the subsection i) of the ar article 1 of the Convention which are https://www.boletinoficial.gob.ar/pdf/linkQR/Z21ueWxqZkNiVDR5VC9wRXlpb01lUT09 to the operations provided for in annex IV B to States not listed in annex VII. Such transboundary movement only shall be prohibited if the waste in question have been characterized as hazardous pursuant to the provisions of the Convention.""
