Law 23/2013, from 28 November, dissolution of the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre since the General Council at its session of November 28 2013 has approved the following: law 23/2013, from 28 November, dissolution of the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre preamble the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre was created by Decree of the Consell General on 13 July 1992 as a limited liability company of French law, under the name of Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre SARL, established in Paris. The Government and the National Centre for Informatics of Andorra were authorized by the General Council to constitute the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre.

In origin the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre had for objective to ensure the development of tourism in the Principality of Andorra, performing all kinds of industrial, commercial or financial operations suitable for the fulfillment of this goal. The creation of this society was motivated for the transfer of the House in Paris, or may be, of the tourism office in Paris, at the new premises of the Avenue de l ' Opéra, number 26, whereas for the transfer and the subsequent lease of commercial premises was necessary to justify that they exercised a commercial activity which is necessary to preserve the value tenant of the property.

On 13 December 2001, the General Council approved the law on the dissolution of the National Centre for computer science in Andorra, and ordered that the Government be subrogava in all legal relations. In this way the Government became the only member of the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre.

On 20 September 2007 the General Council approved the law 13/2007, of creation of the public company Andorra tourism, SA, as the formula or the system most suitable for carrying out the tasks that the public administration assumed in the field of tourism in general, including the Organization of national and international network of offices that would improve the competitiveness of tourism of the Principality of Andorra. Since 2008, the year of commencement of the activities of the public society Andorra tourism, SA, the tasks of the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre have been progressively assumed by Andorra tourism.

On 11 April 2012 the Government approved the new model of presence of Andorra in the potential tourism markets, and the closure of the Office of tourism of the Principality in Paris and Barcelona. This new model was proposed by Andorra tourism society, SA, to optimize the human and financial resources aimed at the tourist offices of Andorra abroad, and to unify the functions and actions in all commercial areas, centralize the activity in a single shopping plan, and have a new sales team. Therefore, there is no reason to keep active the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre.

The Société de développement du is dissolved only article tourisme in D'andorre, limited liability company of French law, created by Decree of the Consell General on 13 July 1992.

When this law comes into force repealing provision will be repealed as of the Decree of the General Council for the creation of the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre.

First final provision empowers the Government to dictate the provisions necessary to comply with this law, and proceed to the dissolution and extinction of the Société de développement du tourisme in D'andorre.

Second final provision this law shall enter into force the day after being published in the official bulletin of the Principality of Andorra.
