-These works have to respect the will of the Government to keep the sports character of the Pavilion.
It has been estimated preliminarily to run the works necessary to renovation of the sports center of Andorra to meet the requirements regulated by the ACB and other regulations applicable in the matter may require an investment of € 970,000. This investment, impossible to foresee at the time of preparing the budget for the year 2014, cannot be postponed to the next exercises because the works have to be completed before the start of the basketball season 2014-2015 (October of 2014).
Seen that the Government does not have enough credits to meet these expenses, encrypted in 970,000 €;
Since the work of consolidation and renovation of the old building of Radio Andorra to locate a Museum — in the budget of the year 2014 – could not be adjudicated until December because it requires previous steps – Museum project, in the course of completion, and then we will have to draw up the detailed design –; and that for this reason, postpone the work in the year 2015 would mean a delay of only two months in the implementation of the initiative museology, because it could be adjudicated in February;
Given that the need and the urgency to have the extension of this work to an amount of € 970,000 are justified for reasons of public interest, because the fact that Andorran team to play in the top flight of Spanish basketball means, on the one hand, a promotion of Andorra in the neighboring country, and on the other hand will provide a regular flow of Spanish visitors who come to see the matches played the teams of which are followers;
Seen that the Government, by agreement of 28 may 2014, has approved an advance of funds for a total amount of € 970,000, intended to finance the works necessary to renovation of the Pavilion "Andorra Sports Centre" to meet the requirements regulated by the ACB and other regulations applicable in the matter, for the following game: 320-326 Land Department Public Building area-60750-constructions and sports equipment-2012-0000000002 public buildings;
Seen the report of the General intervention;
Seen the governmental agreement of 28 May of 2014;
Article 1 approves a credit fee of an amount of € 970,000 for the game following budget: 320-326 Land Department Public Building area-60750 constructions and sports equipment-2012-0000000002 public buildings.
Article 2 This credit fee is financed through budgetary follows: 320-326 Land Department Public Building area-61210 Improvement of buildings of architectural interest-2010-0000000002 Radio Andorra, for an amount of € 970,000.
Final provision this law comes into force the day after being published in the official bulletin of the Principality of Andorra.
