DECISION No. 215/1998/QD-TTg of November 4, 1998 on the mobilization, management and use of postal savings

To assign the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation to organize the postal savings service in order to mobilize all idle money among the population to supplement the sources of development investment capital according the Government's policy and the Law on Domestic Investment Promotion.

The postal savings shall be mobilized by the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation from people of all strata in forms of time deposits and demand deposits.

The postal savings interest rates shall be set by the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation in compatibility with the market interest rates and the ceiling interest rates at each time, thus ensuring the mobilization of capital amounts according to the plan.- (Summary)
