DECISION No. 257/1998/QD-TTg of December 31, 1998 on the establishment of the Steering Board for overcoming "Y2K" in the fields where information technology is used

To set up the Steering Board for overcoming "Y2K" in the fields using information technology, which shall assist the Prime Minister in directing and controlling activities for the prevention, handling and overcoming of the effects of "Y2K", which may happen in the fields of economic, social, security and defense activities in Vietnam.

The Steering Board is headed by the Minister of Science, Technology and Environment with its Deputy Head being a Vice Minister of Science, Technology and Environment and its members being representatives of the concerned ministries and branches.-(Summary)
