Under the planning, Ba Dinh Political Center Zone shall cover 105 ha.

Ba Dinh Political Center Zone is a place where cultural and historical relics as well as valuable architectural works and landscapes are concentrated; where a number of head offices of the leading agencies of the Party, the National Assembly and the Government, as well as a number of cultural and public works of important magnitude for Hanoi capital, the country and the world are built; and where political and cultural events, and tourist and sightseeing activities of people in the country and foreign visitors are organized.

The planning aims to set the tasks of preserving, replenishing, embellishing and upgrading cultural and historical heritages as well as landscapes and valuable architectural works in combination with renovation and new construction in order to perfect the functions of Ba Dinh Political Center Zone and enrich its traditional, cultural and historical values, modernize its technical infrastructure, thus step by step completing its comprehensive building.- (Summary)
