DECREE No. 27/2004/ND-CP of January 16, 2004 defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Vietnamese Academy of Science and Technology

The National Center for Natural Sciences and Technologies is now renamed the Vietnamese Academy of Science and Technology.

The Academy is a governmental agency functioning to conduct research into natural sciences and develop technologies along the State’s key directions.

This Decision defines the tasks, powers, organizational structure and leadership of the Academy, takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decree No. 24/CP of May 22, 1993 on the establishment of the National Center for Natural Sciences and Technologies.- (Summary)
