According to this Joint Circular, the State shall reserve part of its budget as support for rearing, preserving and selecting prototype breeds in order to raise their quality; the import and raising of new prototype breeds; the provision of technical and professional training on prototype breed management; examination and pre-acceptance test of results of prototype breed-rearing and preservation at prototype breed-preserving establishments.

Entitled to enjoy the funding supports are the prototype breed-rearing and -preserving units having the legal status at central and local levels.

This Joint Circular takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette and applies as from the 2004 budget year, annulling all previous regulations contrary hereto.- (Summary)
