The South Research Sub-Institute for Marine Fisheries (SORESIMF), headquartered in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, is attached to and represents the Marine Fisheries Research Institute; directly conducts scientific research into marine fishery technologies in the southern sea areas, from Da Nang city to Kien Giang province.
