DECREE No. 195/2004/ND-CP of November 30, 2004 establishing Lao Cai city of Lao Cai province; and establishing wards of Lao Cai city
To establish Lao Cai city of Lao Cai province on the basis of the existing Lao Cai provincial capital, with a land area of 22,150 ha and a population of 100,225.
To establish Bac Cuong ward on the basis of the existing Bac Cuong commune, with a land area of 1,279 ha and a population of 4,267.
To establish Nam Cuong ward on the basis of the existing Nam Cuong commune, with a land area of 1,117 ha and a population of 4,178.
To establish Binh Minh ward on the basis of adjusting a land area of 1,050 ha and a population of 4,518 of Cam Duong commune.
After the establishment of wards, Lao Cao city shall have 17 dependent administrative units, including 12 wards and 5 communes.
This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.- (Summary)
