      STATUTORY

AUTHORITY: KRS 186A.145

      NECESSITY,

FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: This administrative regulation prescribes the manner

in which information contained on the application for title is to be entered

into the Automated Vehicle Information System (AVIS).

 

      Section 1.

Information contained on the application for title is to be entered into the

AVIS in the following manner:

      (1) All

information required to be printed on the title document pursuant to KRS

186A.125 shall be entered into the AVIS by the county clerk in accordance with

the format displayed.

      (2) All

information required to be printed on the registration document which has not

previously been captured in the AVIS shall be entered into the AVIS by the

county clerk.

      (3) The AVIS

shall be programmed in a manner that prohibits the production of the title or

the registration until all required information is complete. (10 Ky.R. 328; eff.
