§

3672. Selectboard members' duties; recovery

In case of

failure so to do in a town through which such road passes, the selectboard

members shall send notice thereof by mail to the principal office of such

person or corporation. In case such failure continues for ten days after

notice, the selectboard members shall forthwith cause the thistles and weeds to

thistles and weeds. In the event such person or corporation fails to pay to the

town such cost for 60 days from the time the selectboard members sent notice

thereof by mail to the principal office of such person or corporation, such

town shall be entitled to recover such cost including a reasonable fee paid to

an attorney for the recovery in an action on this statute. (Amended 1969, No.
