SECTION .0100 – non-financial requirements

 

10A NCAC 23E .0101       AGE

(a)  Pregnant women and caretaker relatives shall have no

age requirement to be eligible for Medicaid.

(b)  Other individuals shall meet one of the following age

requirements to qualify for Medicaid:

(1)           Age 65 and above as an aged individual; or

(2)           Under age 65 as a disabled individual; or

(3)           Under age 21.

(c)  The anniversary of birth shall be the method for

determining when an age is reached.

(d)  July 1 shall be the date of birth when the year, but

not the date of birth is known.
