(a) The department shall prepare information of consumer interest describing: (1) the functions performed by the department under this chapter; and (2) the rights of a consumer affected by this chapter. (b) The information must describe the procedure by which a consumer complaint is filed with and resolved by the department. (c) The department shall make the information available to the public.
