   § 35-12-18  Construction with other

statutes. –

Nothing in this chapter shall restrict or limit the powers of the corporation

arising under any laws of this state. This chapter shall be construed to

provide a complete additional and alternative method for doing the things

authorized by this chapter and shall be regarded as supplemental and in

addition to the powers conferred by other laws. The issuance of all notes and

other obligations of the corporation under the provisions of this chapter need

not comply with the requirements of any other statute applicable to the

issuance of obligations. No proceedings or notice of approval shall be required

for the issuance of any notes and other obligations or any instruments of

security therefor except as provided in this chapter.
