AUTHORITY: KRS 260.640

      NECESSITY,

FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: This administrative regulation prescribes the minimum

number of eggs that shall be sampled to determine the grade.

 

      Section 1. Sampling

to determine the grade of a lot of eggs in the administration of the egg

marketing law shall be in the following proportions:

      (2) For each

additional fifty (50) cases or fraction thereof in excess of 600 cases, one (1)

additional case shall be included in the sample.

      (3) A minimum of

100 eggs per sample case shall be examined. For lots which consist of less than

one (1) case, fifty (50) eggs shall be examined and, in instances where there

are less than fifty (50) eggs in a lot, all eggs shall be examined. (Agr:
