I, Frank Keating, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, pursuant to the provisions of Section 840-4.1 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes, hereby place the Ethics Commission and the employees thereof under the Merit System of Personnel Administration.
I further order that pursuant to the provisions of Section 840-5.5 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes, one special investigator shall be exempt from the Merit System of Personnel Administration and shall be in the unclassified service.
This executive order shall be forwarded to the Administrator of the Office of Personnel Management and the Ethics Commission who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, this 13th day of April, 1998.
