§

573. Proceeds of sale of condemned vehicle or craft

From the net

proceeds of such sale, the court shall pay all liens, according to their priority

which are established by intervention or otherwise at the time of forfeiture

being adjudged or in other proceedings brought for such purpose, as being bona

fide and having been created without the owner's having any knowledge that the

carrying vehicle was being used or was to be used for the illegal

transportation of malt or vinous beverages, spirituous liquors or alcohol and

shall pay the balance of the proceeds to the State Treasurer, as provided for

the payment of fines under the provisions of law.
