AN ACT relating to the fee charged for filing termination of financing statements under the uniform commercial code.

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa:

Section 1. Section 554.9404, subsection 3, Code Supplement 1991, is amended to read as follows:

3. There shall be a ten sellar no fee for filing a termination statement.

CHAPTER 1092 SHERIFF'S DUTY TO LEVY - APPLICABILITY TO GARNISHMENTS

AN ACT relating to the applicability to garnishments of the sheriffs duty to levy.

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa:

Section 1. Section 626.50, Code 1991, is amended by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph after unnumbered paragraph 2:

NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. This section is not applicable to garnishment proceedings.

CHAPTER 1093 JURY SOURCE LISTS

AN ACT relating to jury source lists.

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa:

Section 1. Section 607 A.22, Code 1991, is amended to read as follows: 607 A.22 USE OF SOURCE LISTS - INFORMATION PROVIDED. The appointive jury commission or the jury manager shall use all both of the following source

lists in preparing grand and petit jury lists: 1. The current voter registration list. 2. The current motor vehicle operators list. & AHy The appointive jury commission or the jury manager may use any other current com-

prehensive list of persons residing in the county, including but not limited to the lists of public utility customers, which the appointive jury commission or jury manager determines are use- able for the purpose of a juror source list.

The applicable state and local government officials shall furnish, upon request, the appoin- tive jury commission or jury manager with copies of lists necessary for the formulation of source lists at no cost to the commission, manager, or county.

The jury manager or jury commission may request a consolidated source list. A consolidated source list contains all the names and addresses found in either the voter registration list or the motor vehicle operators list, but does not duplicate an individual's name within the con- solidated list. State officials shall cooperate with one another to prepare consolidated lists. The jury manager or jury commission may further request that only a randomly chosen portion of the consolidated list be prepared which may consist of either a certain number of names or a certain percentage of all the names in the consolidated list, as specified by the jury manager or jury commission.

mate, fish other than live bait, bird, or other vertebrate animal is bought, sold, exchanged, or offered for sale. However, a ~ shop does not include an establishment if one of the follow- ~ applies:

!!: The establishment receives less than five hundred dollars from the sale or exchange of vertebrate animals during ~ twelve-month period.

t The establishment sells or exchanges less than six animals during ~ twelve-month period.
