RULE §29.23 Disability Retirement with Less Than 10 Years of Creditable Service

A member with less than 10 years of creditable service who is approved for disability benefits shall be entitled to receive disability payments for a full school year for each year of creditable service plus the exact number of months of employment in any school year in which he did not render a creditable year of service. Full payment will be made for service of one-half month or more and no payment for service of less than a half month.
