The Texas Transportation Corporation Act, Transportation Code, Chapter 431, provides for the creation of transportation corporations for the purpose of the promotion and development of public transportation facilities and systems. This subchapter prescribes the policies and procedures governing the creation and operations of those corporations created under the authority of the Texas Transportation Commission.
