RULE §453.107 Program Expiration and Renewal

(a) At least 30 days before the certificate's expiration date, an Offender Education Program seeking renewal shall submit the Program renewal fee and the Program renewal form prescribed by the department. (b) Applicants for Program renewal must demonstrate compliance with applicable rules in this chapter and applicable program requirements. (c) Renewal of a Drug Offender Education Program, Alcohol Education Program for Minors, or DWI Intervention Program becomes effective on September 1 of the year of renewal, and expires on August 31 of every odd-numbered year. Renewal of a DWI Education Program becomes effective on September 1 of the year of renewal and expires on August 31 of every even-numbered year. (d) Programs that fail to submit a complete renewal application and pay the renewal fee before the Program's expiration date will no longer hold a current certification to provide the applicable educational program, and must submit an initial Program application and fee as required in §453.106 of this title (relating to Program Application and Certification) to obtain certification as an approved Offender Education Program.
