Suit on official bond.

54.300. If any county treasurer fails or refuses to pay over the public

revenue when lawfully required to do so, the county commission shall cause

suit to be prosecuted on his bond, and the state director of revenue may

prosecute suit against county treasurers on a copy of their bond in the

manner allowed by law for prosecuting suits against county collectors.
