The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter,
shall have the following meanings:
  (1) Board--The Texas Higher Education Coordinating
Board.
  (2) Commissioner--The Commissioner of Higher Education,
the Chief Executive Officer of the Board.
  (3) Field of Study Curricula--The block of courses
which may be transferred to a general academic teaching institution
and must be substituted for that institution's lower division requirements
for the Communications degree program into which the student transfers,
and the student shall receive full academic credit toward the degree
program for the block of courses transferred.
  (4) Institutions of Higher Education--As defined in
Texas Education Code, §61.003(8).
