Other yellow longitudinal markings.









Pursuant to RCW 46.61.150, amend paragraph 06 of MUTCD Section 3B.03 to read:

If a continuous median island formed by pavement markings separating travel in opposite directions is used, the island may be formed by two single normal solid yellow lines, a combination of two single normal solid yellow lines with yellow crosshatching between the lines with a total width not less than eighteen inches, two sets of double solid yellow lines, or a solid yellow line not less than eighteen inches in width. All other markings in the median island area shall be yellow, except crosswalk markings, which shall be white (see Section 3B.18).
