10A NCAC 73A .0101       SCOPE and purpose

Public Law 104-193, Personal Responsibility and Work

Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 prohibits the provision of Temporary

Assistance for Needy Families assistance to individuals who have a drug related

felony conviction occurring on or after August 22, 1996. The purpose of the

rules in this Subchapter is to set forth requirements for the substance use

screening and drug testing of Work First Program applicants and recipients.
