Continuing education discretionary exception for emergency situation.









In emergency situations, such as personal or family sickness, the board of funeral directors and embalmers may waive, for good cause shown, all or part of the continuing education requirement for a particular two-year period for an individual licensee or registrant. The board will require such verification of the emergency as is necessary to prove its existence.
