SECTION .0100 ‑ GENERAL PROVISIONS

 

 

15A NCAC 12H .0101       STATEMENT OF POLICY

The policy implemented by this Subchapter is that natural

areas important to the maintenance of the state's natural diversity be identified;

that agencies, organizations, and individuals be encouraged to protect those

natural areas best representing North Carolina's natural heritage; and that

natural areas be registered as protected or dedicated as nature preserves for

the benefit of the people of present and future generations.
