SECTION .0500 ‑ USE OF PRIVATELY OWNED VEHICLES

 

01 NCAC 38 .0501             STATE POLICY ON USE OF PRIVATE

VEHICLES

G.S. 138‑6 provides for reimbursement of state

employees for actual mileage driven when using their private vehicles on

official state business.  Reimbursement shall not exceed the rate charged for

motor pool vehicles or normal air coach fares when private vehicles are used

for the convenience of the employee.
