§

4708. Interference with hunting, fishing, or trapping

(a) A person

shall not intentionally interfere with the lawful taking of fish or wild

animals by another nor intentionally harass, drive, or disturb fish or any wild

animal for the purpose of disrupting the lawful taking of the same. Nothing in

this subsection shall be construed to prohibit any incidental interference

arising from lawful activity by land users including farmers and

recreationists.

(b) A person

shall not take, injure, destroy, or wilfully interfere with:

(1) a trap, when

lawfully set for the purpose of taking wild animals; or

(2) wilfully

interfere with a person in the act of trapping animals. (Added 1961, No. 119, §
