§

5614. Recovery of expenses

(a) Whenever it

is necessary for the Commissioner to incur any expense in connection with any

application, notification, registration, license, investigation, or

administrative proceeding, the Commissioner may require that any person who is

the subject of such application, notification, registration, license,

investigation, or administrative proceeding pay the reasonable costs incurred

by the Department.

(b) The

Commissioner may impose a reasonable fee for the expense of conducting an

examination, audit, or inspection under this chapter, including, reimbursement

to the Commissioner for actual traveling and lodging expenses of the

Commissioner or employee in connection with such examination, audit, or

inspection.

(c) The provisions

of this section are in addition to, and not in limitation of, any other

provision of this chapter regarding fees and recovery of expenses. (Added 2007,
