Airports and Landing Fields

SECTION 1-2-4



   § 1-2-4  Contracts for development and

operation of airports. –

The department of transportation is authorized to make contracts on behalf of

the state in relation to the development, operation and maintenance of a state

airport or landing field and to grade the grounds and put them into suitable

condition for use as a landing field and to provide any facilities and

accommodations that it may deem necessary. All contracts are awarded as

provided in § 42-11-2.
