The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred on her by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(2) and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Teddington Memorial Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1995 and shall come into force on 28th January 1995.
Amendment of NHS Trust Establishment Order
2. In the Teddington Memorial National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993(3)—
(a)in Article 4 (directors of the trust) for “3 non–executive” there shall be substituted “4 non–executive” and for “3 executive” there shall be substituted “4 executive”
(b)in Article 7(2) (assistance by health authorities before operational date) for the words “between the establishment date and” there shall be substituted the word “before”.

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the constitution of an NHS trust established by Order under Part I of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990, by increasing the number of executive and non–executive directors from 3 to 4 in each case. This Order also makes a minor correction in article 7(2) of the Order which established the trust.
