The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred on her by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(2) and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Durham County Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1995 and shall come into force on 26th May 1995.

Amendment of NHS trust Establishment Order

2.  In Article 4 of the Durham County Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992(3) for “5 non-executive” there shall be substituted “4 non-executive” and for “5 executive” there shall be substituted “4 executive”.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the constitution of an NHS trust established by Order under Part I of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990, by reducing the number of executive and non-executive directors from 5 to 4 in each case.
