The Immigration (Transit Visa) (Amendment) Order 1995

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 1A(1) and (2) of the Immigration (Carriers' Liability) Act 1987(1), the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Transit Visa) (Amendment) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 24th October 1995.

2.  For the Schedule to the Immigration (Transit Visa) Order 1993(2) there shall be substituted the Schedule to this Order.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Immigration (Transit Visa) Order 1993 by adding China, Ghana and Nigeria to, and removing Lebanon from, the list of countries or territories whose nationals or citizens need a visa for passing through the United Kingdom.
