(This note does not form part of the Order)
This Order is consequential on the Order implementing the Common Position of the European Union requiring an arms embargo on certain exports to Indonesia. It removes the exception conferred by Article 3 of the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1994 from the requirement to obtain an export licence in respect of goods in transit or for transhipment and which are to be exported within 30 days of their importation.
