WILLS AND ADMINISTRATION OF ESTATES
Wills and Administration Proceedings (1994 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 1999

The Department of Finance and Personnel, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) of the Wills and Administration Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1994(1) and paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974(2) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1.  This Order may be cited as the Wills and Administration Proceedings (1994 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 1999.

Appointed day

2.  Articles 32 to 35 of the Wills and Administration Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1994 (powers of High Court in proceedings relating to estates of deceased persons and trusts) shall come into operation on 18th January 1999.

Explanatory Note

This Order brings into operation on 18th January 1999 Articles 32 to 35 of the Wills and Administration Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1994 (powers of High Court in proceedings relating to estates of deceased persons and trusts).
Note as to Earlier Commencement Orders

This Order brings into operation the provisions of the Wills and Administration Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1994 which were not brought into operation by the Wills and Administration Proceedings (1994 Order) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 1994 (S.R. 1994 No. 327 (C. 12)) on 1st January 1995.
